This original property was a 2 bedroom fibro shack which was knocked down and a brand new 5 bedroom two storey house built.

Our new bondi apartment is our home base when we are home from NY a few times each year. We needed furniture and also wanted to update the walls, floors, balcony and lighting to create a stylish beach pad as a retreat for us and a fun space for entertaining friends and family. We used design4space when we came to renovate our surry hills terrace in 2008. The interior design services were great as it saved quite a bit of time on our part – we didn’t have to shop around for tiles or paint colours.
After meeting us in our home and discussing the look that we wanted, we found that we really liked almost all of the suggested finishes first time round so we didn’t have to go backwards and forwards with ideas. And we didn’t suffer from over choice – it’s great to have someone narrow things down for you. design4space also helped with the bathroom design to maximise space and achieve storage in the bathroom which was crucial for us.
Similarly in the bedroom and kitchen the design ideas for the built in draws and cupboards made the most of the space. design4space also put us in touch with a range of tradies to provide quotes and the builder we used was very thorough and worked well with us. The final look is just what we were after and we really enjoy coming home to our home.
